Gina Griffin

Gina studied classical violin and began writing music at an early age, singing in her first band at 12 and becoming fully professional at 18. Since then she has developed a unique and vibrant live style – equally at home playing at small, intimate gigs to some of the biggest festivals, including Glastonbury and Japan’s Fuji Rock.

Gina lived and worked in France for a number of years where she taught violin and played for the traditional Bal Musette. Back at home in the UK she has become a well-loved regular of the South West’s live music scene and has written and performed music for live theatre and TV (Discovery channel, Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory, Miren Theatre Company, BBC).
